May is Historic Preservation Month, and the historic Huntridge Theatre is a place that matters to us! It is the site of early Las Vegas arts and cultural festivities. It's WWII era Streamline Moderne architecture is universally celebrated and replicated in newer structures. We share so many memories here! Simply put, this place matters!
Join us at 6 p.m., Friday, May 6th in front of the Huntridge Theatre for a group photo by professional photographer Jummel Hidrosollo, where we will capture the community support for this place. Afterward, we will celebrate the theatre's significance to Las Vegas history with a fun, carefree gathering at nearby Huntridge Tavern. Enjoy Deschutes beer and unique raffle offerings from 7 to 11 p.m. Proceeds support The Huntridge Foundation in our continued efforts to preserve the historic Huntridge Theatre and its legacy in our community.
Wear orange if you have it, hold one of our This Place Matters signs, and join us for this special Preservation Month outing!
