The Annual Juried Show is back for it's 27th year.
Guest Juror Mary Leigh Cherry co-founded Cherry and Martin with Philip Martin in 2006. They represent an international roster of artists, program two gallery locations in Los Angeles and participate in fairs in the US and abroad. Prior to that she co-founded a project space with her husband, artist Tony de los Reyes, called cherrydelosreyes.
She was the director of the Fellows of Contemporary Art from 2000-2005 and helped the exhibition granting organization transition to also award unrestricted artist grants. From 2000- 2002,Cherry contracted with the City of Santa Monica, Cultural Affairs department to oversee their municipal art collection, the Art Bank, and manage the conservation of the City’s internationally recognized public art program.
Prior to moving to Los Angeles, Cherry lived in Venice, Italy and her hometown is Durham, North Carolina.
